CONTENT DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

Are you passionate about creating impactful, engaging, and shareable content? As a Content Development Intern with

Life After High School, you’ll help shape the voice of our brand and connect with our audience in meaningful ways. This role is perfect for someone with a knack for storytelling, visual design, and creative thinking who’s eager to contribute to an organization with a mission to transform young adult lives.

You’ll work closely with our Social Media Manager to conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality content across all platforms. If you love brainstorming creative ideas, playing with visuals, and crafting stories that inspire, this is the internship for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Content Creation: Develop educational, entertaining, and value-driven content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and infographics.

  • Social Media Support: Assist in creating and scheduling posts, stories, and reels that resonate with our target audience.

  • Repurposing Content: Take existing materials and reimagine them for various platforms, such as blog-to-reel adaptations, podcast snippets for TikTok, Pinterest, Youtube, and more.

  • Campaign Brainstorming: Collaborate on creative campaigns for key initiatives and events to boost engagement and visibility.

  • Audience Engagement: Work with the Social Media Manager to monitor and respond to comments and messages, fostering a sense of community.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the Life After High School brand voice, mission, and visual guidelines.

  • Analytics Review: Track the performance of content and assist in identifying trends to optimize future efforts.

Your Skills:

  • Creative Visionary: You have an eye for great design and can craft content that stands out.

  • Strong Writer: You can articulate ideas clearly and compellingly through written content.

  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with Canva or other editing platforms

  • Social Media Fluency: You’re familiar with some or all platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Youtube, and Facebook and understand what type of content thrives on each.

  • Attention to Detail: You ensure content is polished, error-free, and aligned with brand standards.

  • Collaborative Team Player: You’re ready to work alongside the Social Media Manager and other team members to bring ideas to life.

  • Self-Starter: You can take initiative and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
